CHICKLETS AHOY

I was happy to join Toltec jewels in her chicklet blog hop.She sent out Sue beads chicklets to 44 people to work with

As usual I procraftinated to the last minute last night and put together a necklace which did not work out as i wanted

the beads were too small and went under the chicklet and the wire showed at the center so i started over again and made a simple but elegant bracelet

Hopefully ive learned my lesson to start earlier but i do love how the bracelet turned out and shows off the chicklet
my thanks to Rita for including me in her hop

  1. I'm glad you like how the bracelet turned out. It's very cute. The necklace looks cool, but I know how sometimes things just don't lay right, etc. Good job on making things work out in the end.

  2. The necklace idea was very cool...might have layed better with a single bead or two on each side of the chicklet then start the double strand from there...just an idea for the future ;) The bracelet turned out just gorgeous! so your work worked...even if you had some procraftination frustration...lol

  4. Both ways looked pretty. But the bracelet has that 'bling'.
    Very nice.

  5. The bracelet is beautiful. The glass beads go perfectly with the chicklet. I totally understand the last minute design thing. I procrastinate quite often. The funny thing is I am more likely to wait until the last minute when I think I have a design idea. And then that's the one that doesn't fit together the way I imagined. Your re-do is perfect.

  7. I actually quite like the look of the necklace - something to try again, IMHO ;) The bracelet is very pretty, too, in my favorite colors.

  8. The necklace looked nice. But it is hard to tell if it sits properly. The bracelet tuned out to be lovely. Good job!!

  11. I love the concept of the first necklace. Hopefully you can work out a way to make it work because it's a great design. However, your bracelet is lovely. Beautiful design and colours.

  12. It's great that you had not one, but a couple sets of beads just perfectly matched to go with the chicklet! Isn't it great to have a "stash" in waiting?! Your necklace looks like a good idea too, but the bracelet really sparkles, lays perfectly, and is ever so pretty! Thanks for sharing both your creations with us!

  14. I love that blue colored bead that you received. I also love how you used copper with it. I had a similar colored bead and used copper with mine. I love that combo. Beautiful piece.
