Time for the Swap and Hop reveal today May 15 2016!     Are you excited!!

My partner is Fay Rice Wolfenden of British Columbia Canada who is a lampwork and copper artist
here is what she sent me to work with.  A great collection of lampwork, copper, vintage beads and a few seed beads

this is what I sent to her:

and this is what I made with her goodies.  I had lost of fun with her copper pieces which i changed up a bit by using different bead configurations than what she had  sent me to work with. I especially loved the large purple lampwork bead that I reconfigured into a bracelet. I love the large tubes I got from Supertime beads at the gem show and the matching swirl clasp goes great with it and the purple crystal roundelles

and next up I loved Fays copper tube circle which become the focal along with her other copper dangles which I painted with fire with my torch to get wonderful colors which coordinated well with my love of red creek jasper(my favorite stone)

next up is the vintage blue glass beads which i added blue coral and Fays black spacers.  I showed them off with the focal pod which I created when I took a class with Doreen Gay-Kassell with the New England Polymer Clay guild.

and from her wonderful lampwork beads and copper

and I still have more beads left including her headpins that I am hoarding still.

Cant wait to hop and see everyones creativity

  9. Love that pod necklace! And I agree with Linda, that chain is awesome. Question about what you sent Day - Is that an actual urchin or clay?
