Saturday night and the procrastination is over I need to make something so I looked around my beading table and noticed this flower copper bar with flowers and It just seemed right. I didnt want that to be the focal so I decided to use it on the side and have the focal hang at the bottom in a place of honor. I had a lot of fun with this hope you like my necklace.
ooops forgot my dream. For years i had dreamed of owning my own house with a studio...
until recently my studio was combined with my sons bedroom now i have moved it into the basement and made a designated area to create which is wonderful. it is away from everything so i dont have to keep it clean lol . but of coarse with the addition of my new facebook destash group i have once again cluttered up my house with my beads for sale
check them out at the Bead hoarders destash group on facebook..........https://www.facebook.com/groups/TheBeadHoardersDestashGroup/
And now for my piece.... I thought long....hence made it last night and hard sorry the pictures are dark

ReplyDeleteThis is one of my favorite color combinations -- turquoise and brown -- and I adore this necklace! Gorgeous necklace!! Lori, this is lovely work -- beautiful antiqued floral metal findings and an exquisite pattern of beads. Thank you for sharing your jewelry design gifts with us. I am so honored!
ReplyDeleteHappy Hopping & creating, Rita
Love this. I like the beads and colors you combined with your bead. And I really like the focal on the side of the bead. A very nice touch, makes it very vintage feeling to me.
ReplyDeleteThat copper piece is stunning! What a pretty piece you've put together and made the beautiful focal bead the star of the show. Congrats on the new work space Christie
ReplyDeleteBeautiful detailed beads, that go so well with the brown/blue flower bead! I love the asymmetry in your design! Have fun in your studio in the basement :-)
ReplyDeleteOh, I love how you used the flowers stamping ! I use a lot of metal in my creations, but I don't think I would ever have thought of using it to the side like that. Sorry this comment took so long, this week has been a little heretic.
